Carryr Bags new partnership

The latest news and updates from the Cambridge Cluster

A Cambridge start-up aiming to become the ‘Deliveroo of fashion’ has teamed up with one of the city’s best-known brands to offer same-day delivery.
Carryr has signed a partnership with The Cambridge Satchel Company for orders placed through CSC’s website.

By selecting the Carryr delivery option, now available at checkout, online shoppers based in Cambridge can have their orders delivered on the same day — in as little as an hour, or schedule it for another time that suits.

Chris Jordan, co-founder and CEO of Carryr, started the business in 2017 to capitalise on the boom in the online shopping market. He said: “The online shopping experience has transformed so much over the past decade to adapt to the customer’s lifestyle, yet the delivery experience hasn’t evolved much. We’re really excited to partner up with The Cambridge Satchel Company to help us build the delivery experience that online shoppers really deserve.”

Julie Deane OBE, CEO and founder of The Cambridge Satchel Company, added: “We are thrilled to offer our Cambridge customers this exceptional delivery service through Carryr. When standard delivery simply won’t do and you need your bag for that all-important meeting, date night, or just because you don’t want to wait – Carryr will deliver your satchel in as little as an hour of placing an order on our website.” The new partnership launched last month to coincide with Valentine’s Day, with Carryr offering a free red rose with every delivery to celebrate the launch. How romantic. The company hopes to announce more partnerships in the near future.
