Futuristic housebuilding hits Cambridge

Posted on Sep 16, 2020 by Cambridge Catalyst

New customisable homes are coming to Northstowe for sale, with technology that allows customers to design their homes from their living room sofa

Urban Splash is launching the first of its Town Houses on Saturday, 19 September at Inholm, a new urban village area being built.

New gaming technology allows customers to design their dream homes from their armchairs – before they have even reserved their plot of land!

A first for Cambridgeshire, the developer will also launch its new semi-detached Town House on the day.

Guy Ackernley, Urban Splash residential director stated: “We are delighted to bring these homes to Cambridgeshire. We’ve all spent a lot of time in our homes this year and that’s led to many people reconsidering the spaces they live in; what we have here is the chance for buyers to create a home that really works for them and their family.”
Guy adds: “We have invested so much in technology this year to create innovate, cutting edge homes for people in Cambridgeshire. The result is a fully immersive virtual viewing experience for customers wishing to view properties from their current home. This, coupled with our configurator, places us at the vanguard of what virtual reality can bring to the homebuyer experience at Northstowe.”
House by Urban Splash has already created its customisable homes at New Islington in Manchester, Port Loop in Birmingham, Smith’s Dock in North Shields and Irwell Riverside in Salford. The semi-detached home is a brand new house type which has not been launched at any other development.
Anyone wishing to meet the team in person at the launch on 19 September can book via www.housebyurbansplash.co.uk, appointments must be made in advance to keep the event Covid-safe.
You can also start designing your new home ahead of the launch here: housebyurbansplash.co.uk/design-yours.
